Bretons take charge

The day-to-day management of the OC Sports Club has passed to Ed Breton of Breton Fitness Management. He will be responsible for all aspects of the club and the OC Society's role will be restricted to liaising with him.

Ed plans to make much-needed investment and has other exciting ideas to make TD appealing to OCs and non-OCs alike.

The OC Society took the decision to appoint a third party to manage Thames Ditton after an extensive review of the way the facility operates.

Since the tragic death of Trevor Jones TD has been run by Martin Williamson and Anthony Fay. They will relinquish day-to-day control from September 1, although Martin will continue to act as the liaison between the Bretons and the Society.

Renovations continue

In the coming months the second part of the renovation programme will be undertaken. Work scheduled includes replacing the windows in home and away showers, finishing the overhaul of the lighting inside the clubhouse, several thousand pounds on pitch renovations and an extension to the car park.
